Can it be true? Has Obama conceded a major victory to John McCain? It appears from statements he made here in Florida yesterday that the will and demands of the American people and the urging of Bush and McCain has caused he ONE for whom we have been waiting, to re- think his opposition to off shore drilling. He is saying that drilling may well be a part of a compromise energy plan. GEE isn't that what we here, and John McCain, and Republican Congressman etc have been saying? That we need drilling, conservation, new sorces of energy? Meanwhile, Nancy, Iam trying to save the world, Pelosi took her stand yesterday against any drilling at about the same time Obama was makng his speach. Is Nancy P about to join Granny , The Rev Wright (he who is wrong) and Rev Flager under the bus? Hmmm, getting a bit crowded under there!
It sure looks like Nancy will become the latest disposable victim on Obam's trip to the Presidency of the world. Should he continue to indicate a willingness to drill, in other words another flip-flop, his left wing environmentalist base will go crazy. GOOD. This issue has been a great gift to Republicans from the Left. It appears it will keep on giving.
