MCCAIN DID AMERICA, HIS PARTY AND CONSERVATIVES PROUD YESTERDAY!

Yesterday  morning John McCain showed the world why he will be the next President of the United States. The choice of Sara Palin shows him to be the kind of BOLD, INNOVATIVE, CREATIVE, leader we need at this time.

It actually started at the Saddleback Forum where he came out swining and scored knock out after knock out. Until then his camopaign looked weak, listless, uninspired. No more!

Sara Palin changes the whole political equation. It is a Bold, Dramatic, Risky, Inspired stroke of genious. It highlights McCain as a Maverick, As an innovator, unafraid to take chances, serious  about reform in DC and The real agent for change in this election. Where Obama has been talking the talk about change, McCain just showed he can walk the walk and start NOW to bring change, not after innauguration day. Obama picked an entrenched Washington insider who has been part of the problem for 36 years. McCain picks an outsider, no Washington insider, who has proven she can be tough on even her own  party. Who can cut spending, cut taxes, cut waste, oversee a budget, run a cabinet, run agencies, etc etc, THAT is not experience? what are Obama's accomplishments?? Name some. Name any? What has Biden done to bring change? Can anyone name anything? Biden was a SAFE pick, someone who could guide Obama, teach him. Palin is already an accomplished leader with a proven track record. She is also an historic pick. She and her husband are a true American family, He is a union member and also has a fishing business. They Know what middle class Americans need.

Sara Palin should appeal to women, even those who are pro choice. She is a true feminist in the good seense, accomplished in many areas, a broadcaster, hunter, fisherman, hockey player, Mayor, Governor. At the same time she is a devoted wife and mother. She is doing what feminists have been calling for for decades.

I am confident that over the  next week Americans will come to know her and see the wisdom of John McCain's choice.

Yes, John McCain did America, his Party and Conservatives proud !!!!!!

McCain's VEEP....SARA PALIN???? A STUNNING DEVELOPMENT!

I have written all week that John McCain needed to go outside the box and show he can be an innovator, THE agent for CHANGE and pick a VP other than who was expected, namely Romney or Pawlenty. It now appears he has choosen Gov. Sara Palin of Alaska!!

Apparently Pawlenty and Romney are now out. If these reports are true this could be monumental for McCain. If it is Palin, not only does he show HE is the one who can bring real change but it could also help win some of the woman who felt Hillary at least should have been
picked as Obama's VP. If it is Palin in one fell swoop McCain has reassurred his Conservative base and at same time reached out to many many  voters outside the Party.

McCain has always been a Maverick. Picking Sara Palin would be a stunning and dramatic move. She is a solid conservative with Executive experience. Like McCAin she is a Refoemer. This could cut the legs from under Obama's PR and Bounce from last night's acceptance speech. IF Palin or anyone other than who everyone thought, the news all weekend and going into the Convention will be McCain's choice.

This could be big, really BIG!!

THE THEATER OF THE ABSURD IN DENVER

As sheer theater and spectacle Barack Obama's acceptance speech will be hard to beat. He took the basic Liberal stump speech of old and dressed it up with the lipstick of new words and a new delivery but a pig is still a pig and a Liberal speech is still a Liberal speech. No more. No less.

How effective was it? We start finding out with tomorrow's polls. It really depends on how many voters actually watched it. It was the kind of event you had to see and hear, otherwise I think as a read one would get the impresion it was a laundry list interspersed with cutting attacks on John McCain. It was an attempt and an effective attempt to paint himself not as someone above politics but as some one in the tradition of Roosevelt and Kennedy.

Barack Obama is one of the best politicians at delivering a speech, give him credit for that, but what the speech lacked among other things was specifiics as to exactly what he will do if elected and how he will pay for it. Raising taxes on 5 percent will not begin to bring in what it will take to pay for his proposals. He listed the usual Liberal programs but again we have never heard real detailed speccifics. We also are not told how he will deliver.

If a great number of voters actually heard Obama, then McCain has his work cut out for him starting with his Vice Presidential pick and continuing with the Republican Convention next week. How long will the effect of tonights speech last? That is up to John McCain. The ball is in his court.
