OBAMA :CHANGE WE CAN NOT COUNT ON?

I knew it would happen eventually, just never thought he would start BEFORE the election! It looks like The Obama campaign has started the process of lowering the expectations of his followers!

In an article by Tim Reid, The Times of London:

"Barack Obama's senior advisers have drawn up plans to lower expectations for his presidency if he wins next week's election, amid concerns that many of his euphoric supporters are harboring unrealistic hopes of what he can achieve.

The sudden financial crisis and the prospect of a deep and painful recession have increased the urgency inside the Obama team to bring people down to earth, after a campaign in which his soaring rhetoric and promises of "hope" and "change" are now confronted with the reality of a stricken economy.

One senior adviser told The Times that the first few weeks of the transition, immediately after the election, were critical, "so there's not a vast mood swing from exhilaration and euphoria to despair."
                                 ------------------------------
Starting with the primaries, Barack Obama has run as the agent of this great program of Change he promised. Hope and Change, Change and Hope. His supporters over and over again said he will do great and wonderous things for them, that he was a different kind of candidate - NOT the usual politician, HE will deliver on his promises!

He promised Higher taxes for the evil corporations, for the "wealthy" even as his definition of wealthy "changed". He promised Health Care for all, including illegals. He was going to end the Iraq war immediately if not sooner.

Obama swayed millions with his words. He was THE ONE..He was the Messiah, the promised one! He was going to lead the world into a new epoch of peace and prosperity!. He was...he was...he..

Barack Obama raised the hopes of his followers to unrealistic heights, on purpose, to get elected. Now that he feels the election is all his, the real Obama once again comes out. Just as his plan for redistributing wealth slipped out in his answer to Joe the Plumber, This plan to lower expectations now shows what Obama says is not what he means. Those foolish enough to buy into the new kind of politician - this new Hope and Change bull are in for a rude awakening.

Obama will not take any blame for not doing all his followers expect, why it will be all Bush's fault! He left a bad economy. Bush, not the Democrats caused the housing collapse, the recession, etc, etc.

Once again Liberals are being shown for what they really are, LIARS!.All the plans, the promises, the high hopes were all a scam to get elected.
Obama may in fact get elected. The blame Bush mantra will work only for so long.If Democrats maintain control of Congress Obama will have no excuse not to fulfill his promises. He created these expectations, now he has to deal with the realities that they were always unrealistic.

McCain-Palin are the true agents of change. They have not over promised. They have not created high hopes for a nanny state that will wipe away all or tears and take care of all our needs. What they promise is lower taxes to grow the economy. True reform that is so badly needed in Washington. They promise to reach across the aisle and work with Democrats to get things done, not just talk about it. They have a track record in doing all this. Obama has a teleprompter.

John McCain is not the one now whining about high expectations. He is not the one with the alrady failed campaign promises. He is not the one who, IF elected, will soon anger and disilusion millions of Americans who voted for him - who BELIEVED in HIM.

Barack Obama - the only CHANGE we can count on is the change in his promises!

VOTE LIKE AMERICA DEPENDS ON IT - SHE DOES!!

We are down to the wire on the Presidential election. I was off line for a couple of days but a lot has happened over the weekend.

The latest Zogby polls has actually tightened up! Other polls seem to have stabilized if not started to tighten as well. Perhaps Obama has passed his peak too early. We shall see this week if there is movement toward McCain.

Barack Obama's redistribution of wealth reply to Joe the plumber still has legs and in fact has gained new momentum this weekend with the revelation
of a 2001 radio interview where Obama came out with his true beliefs on the Constitution, the role of the Supreme Court to MAKE laws not interpret and redistribution of wealth. Where was this interview during the primaries? Who released it now? With only a week to go can McCain and the GOP get on top of this and explain just what it means in terms average voters can understand? IF they can McCain may have been handed a life raft.

I am fully aware what polls say, what the media says, even what some disheartend Republicans are saying. Do not believe any of it. The election has not happened yet. The votes have not been counted. No one really knows what will happen between now and next Tuesday.

What cannot happen is for US to become so disheartened that we buy into the its all over cries of Liberals and fail to vote, or fail to continue to try to convince others why they should not vote for Obama. They want us to give up. They want us to slack in our get out the vote campaign. We can not give up.We can still win this. A change of less than 1% a day in the polls and McCain will win. Pennsylvania may still be in play. From what I hear down here in Florida where I live the race is not over.

Whatever happens November 4th America will survive. Conservatism will survive. We will be stronger and fight harder for the mid-term election of Congress which will come upon us very fast, in fact will begin this November 5th! I believe McCain-Palin will prevail. Every American weather a fence sitter or anti-Mccain must vote to keep Obama and his ilk from chipping away at our Constitution. This race is not about Dem vs Republican, Liberal vs Conservative. It is about our FREEDOMS. It is about our Constitution. It does no longer matter if McCain was the best Conservative for the job. That is history. GET OVER IT! With each revelation about Obama's true motives it is more apparent that what we are fighting for here is not some political principals, we are fighting for America.

A vote for Obama, a sit this one out, or a vote for some third so called party will only send a message to Obama that he has free reign to push through the Liberal agenda. WE will eventually win - America will win and we will undo any damage they do in two or four years, but if we vote for McCain-Palin and continue to convince others to do likewise we all will be a lot better for it.

NEWS FLASH! APB ISSUED FOR BIDEN'S BRAIN SCANS

The Obama Campaign announced they cannot issue Joe Biden's complete medical records as his brain scans are missing! DUH! Missing or non-existant? What did or did NOT show up on them?

From his latest comments, ie jobs is a three letter word, j- o- b- s, Trying to raise up a paraplegic State Senator from his wheelchair, and now His We will have an international crisis in first 6 months of an Obama Administration AND their response will not look at first like it is correct, Biden appears to suffer from more than his usual foot in mouth disease.

Where did these brain scans go? Americans have the right to know what is in there. That is why this APB is being issued. These scans must be found before the election. Perhaps they are hiding with Nancy Pelosi's 2006 FIRST 100 day plan. Or maybe they were put with Obama's missing College records. Maybe they are hiding with the Off shore driling bill or the plans for the border wall.

Americans need to know about Joe Biden's brain and if he even has a brain.
His own words and actions do not support the brain theory. It is up to the Obama campaign to prove the second in command does in fact have a brain and if he does, how much is really up there.

This week we had Obama fessing up to his redistribution of wealth plan. Murtha at first called his own state residents racist then changed it to redneck. Now Biden basically says there will be a crisis due to Obama's lack of experience. Democrats seem to be having trouble thinking. The Gang that Couldn't Think Straight is about to ride up to D.C and hitch up to the White House. It is imperrative we know all we can about the mental condition of those who would lead the world. God forbid we end up with Obama, Biden, Pelosi, Reid runing the government and Biden unable to prove he even has a brain.

IF the scans are found and IF they show in fact Biden does have a brain he could be singing a new tune:

I would be a happy fellow, I'd be very very mellow
                               If I only had a brain !
I could be so very clever, foot in mouth no, not ever
If I only had a brain!
I would be so conversational, I'd be very inspirational.
I would be NO Al Gore, I would never ever bore.
If I only had a brain!
I would advise my friend Obamy, I love him like a Mammy
I would be like a swami If I only had a brain!

Ok! So I am not a song writer, I tried... then again Biden is no genius and he gets to run for VP! We must all be very vigilant BOLO for Joe's scans, we only have two weeks left!

WHY DO LIBS FEAR JOE THE PLUMBER?

The Obama campaign/MSM have decided to kill the messanger. Poor Joe the Plumber. All he wanted to know was why Obama wanted to raise his taxes so he won't be able to buy his plumbing business. He didnt seek out Obama, Obama was campaigning right on Joe's street. He said nothing wrong, just asked a legitimate question. It was Obama who brought up spreading his success around aka redistribution of wealth. The McCain Campaign rightly picked up on this and now the Libs are furious at- Joe!

Like the Clintons Libs cannot stand anyone who may get in their way. They must be punished, destroyed. They are creating a smoke screen, trying to hide Obama's redistribution of wealth plans behind personal charges about Joe. It does NOT matter one iota who Joe is or what he may or may not have done in his past. It does not take away anything from his valid question and Obama's "error" in answering honestly without his teleprompter. They are supposedly the champions of the middle class - the little guy, the Joes of the world. Why try to destroy him? Why spread lies about him? Who gives a damn if he is not in a union? Does that somehow make his question less valid?

Democrats are against the free exchange of ideas. In college there is no real dissent from the far left propaganda. Conservatives IF they are allowed to speak are shouted off the stage. They can not bear to hear the truth. THAT is why they are out to destroy Joe the Plumber. It is like vampires unable to go out in the sun. The truth hurts them, they cannot stand it. It must be silenced!

Today Joe the Plumber. Tomorrow FOX News??? or Talk Radio in the guise of "fairness"? They already indoctrinate your children from grade school on up with their far left ideology and political "correctness". Joe the Plumber is like the boy in the crowd who shouted the Emperor has no clothes on! Perhaps it will wake Americans up from their coma before it is too late and they put someone in the White House they will regret. That is why they hate Joe. He represents the average guy who is NOT a leftist, who just wants to succeed. Who just wants the truth.

Obama's supporters hate Joe the plumber because they hate truth.

NOW MORE THAN EVER ITS THE ECONOMY STUPID!

McCain-Palin have finally taken the gloves off and are going after Obama on a number of fronts. This is good. They should have done it from the start. This will also not help them win. McCain's fortunes nose dived with this banking-credit crisis. Republicans have been in the White House eight years. Bush did a horribly bad job in educating the public on just how good the economy had been through most of his administration and He and Republicans in Congress tossed out their Conservative beliefs on less spending , less Government, etc. Sure We have a war going on and Billions were required in creating the Dept. of Homeland Security. But Republicans failed to be REPUBLICANS.

So we have this awful financial mess that Bush and McCain warned could happen. Dems had a big roll in creating this mess but again, Republicans were no where to be seen crying out week after week about the comming Housing and Market crashes. Combined with Dems campaigning in the primaries as if we were already in the worst economy since the Depression eventhough the economy was actually still strong and the seeds for McCain's current problems had already sprouted. Now they are bearing fruit.

We are only weeks away from the election and McCain has failed to regain the offensive. Some how he must take control of this last debate and use it as a forum to educate Americans what really happened this past month, why it happened and who are responsible. He must use most of his alloted time doing this no matter what the question is he is supposed to answer. Give one sentence answers on foreign policy, energy, whatever and spend rest of the time going back to how we got to this crisis and how Democrats played a huge part in getting us here and Obama either didn't see it comming = bad judgement or did and wanted to protect his pals Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and Acorn among others. This is possibly the last chance McCain will have to distance himself from Bush's policies and Obama's proposals . Rather than be defensive on the economy make it an advantage. Obama is the one who failed to see the problems of subprime mortgages. What other economic problems will his inexperience also cause him to miss if he is elected?

McCain needs to stress Obama's total lack of experience, lack of budget experience, Proposals that even without this crisis would break the backs of taxpayers. As with the War on Terror. he needs to convince Americans that in this Economic crisis we need a tried and tested leader. We simply can not afford an Obama Administration.

Many things can still happen in the course of the remaining three weeks of this election. One possibility is that this world wide financial crisis could be a blessing from God. Socialism has failed Europeans. The weight of their Nanny States have crushed their economies and
with the declining birth rate declining numbers of workers to pay for it all. Here, Obama and his supporters overlook the failure of Socialism and want to institute it here. With the housing and credit crisis, and banks failing and the government in hock now for almost a trillion dollars, and more money still needed to prop the system up IF Obama does win  and still has majorities in Congress, he will not be able to upset the economic cart as fast as he hoped. Already he hedges on tax increases etc. If we can get through two years of  what I call Obamanomics, we have time for Republicans to re-take at least one House of Congress.

McCain supporters do not have the time to cry over this free fall in the polls. We and the McCain-Palin Campaign have to  do whatever we can to convince voters Democrats got us in this mess, not John McCain but he is the only candidate in this race who can lead us out of it.

It is the Economy. Conservatives are right on how to grow the economy , Democrats are wrong and this is the message McCain must convince the American voters of: He can grow this economy, Obamanomics will ruin it further.

OBAMA: GUILT BY ASSOCIATION-OR ASSOCIATED WITH GUILT?

There is much to designate this election as one of the most important as well as amazing in recent history.
The ups and downs of the primaries and now the general election  mirror the swings in the economy. Each day is a white knuckle event!

Never in my lifetime has a Presidential election taken place in the same month as a major, on going crisis. Never has the difference between the candidates on MOST issues been so stark.

Never has one candidate had so little experience. Not just Washington experience but ANY experience. His resume could fit on an old 3 x 5 index card.

Another area that makes this election stand out from all others in recent history is Character- What does each stand for? Who are they? what are their core beliefs? Who are their mentors?

John McCain and Sarah Palin have rightly re-introduced these questions as the MSM has totally neglected them. We all know who McCain is, who he is, what made him who he is. There are no surprises, what you see is what you get, weather you agree with him on all issues or not, you have to respect his consistancy of core beliefs: Right to Life, Cutting Government, cutting taxes, support of the Military, support of the War on Terror, Support of Marriage, support of the 2nd Amendment Rights, etc etc.

What about Barack Obama? What are HIS core beliefs? Who has shaped HIS political philosophy? Who does he associate with? Unfortunately there are no ready answers to many of these questions. Obama is like Alien Abduction victims- MISSING TIME! What was he doing in College? his transcripts are no where to be found. His required thesis missing. He headed the Law Review yet there is no example of anything he wrote. Who did he hang out with? what clubs did he belong to? What groups did he support? What is there to hide? Why not release this stuff?

SO he graduates and suddenly he is a Community Organizer. What is that? Why did he go to work giving legal advice to ACORN? Was that the only choice he had? If not what attracted him to this radical leaning Association of Community Organizations?

We find him suddenly becoming a Christian after joining the Church of the Rev. Wright but in his own book while he describes the Church's work in the Community and its Pastor, Rev Wright, there does not seem to be a Conversion moment - No deep seated conviction, no revolation. Did he become a Christian and join Wright's Church for Political expediancy?

After a few lack luster years "organizing" Obama enters Politics. Who do we find hosting his first fund raiser? William Ayers! He of the bomb DC Weather Under ground! Why did he pick Ayres to host his fundraiser? Who all were there?

What I am getting at here is this. It is said you can tell a lot about a man by who he associates with. Why is it the only people we have heard of that Barack Obama associated with are Rev Wright, Wiliam Ayers, Tony Rezko, Father Pflager...get the drift? Not exactly the types usually associated with Presidential candidates, in fact if even one of these were people in McCain's past and present, the Media would be all over digging up as much about these relationships as they could find and asking tough questions.

Obama always seems to have been looking elsewhere when it comes to his associates. He never knew Rev Wright made racist statements from the pulpit - even tho he was a memebr for 20 years. He never knew Rezko had shady dealings, Never knew William Ayers was unrepentant about his radicalism. How coincidental! I guess this is similar to his not being able to decide when Life begins as it is above his pay grade. In his brief carrer in the Us Senate he never criticized his friends Barney Frank and Chris Dodd regarding Fannie and Freddie - which ACORN pressured to increase subprime mortgages to its clients. Why? McCain saw the writing on the wall, why didnt Obama?

Name someone from his past who is not left wing ideologue. Where are his fellow Columbia grads? Was he involved with left radical groups and ideologies even then? Does he hang out with "normal" business and political people? Does he have "normal" middle class friends? I am just asking.

What else don't we know about Obama? Who else has influenced him? His campaigns charges McCain is using guilt by association in his ads. I ask, does his associaions make Obama just as guilty as those he associates with?

NO, I AM NOT CRAZY BUT I STILL THINK MCCAIN WILL WIN!

Last night's debate was a real yawner. I managed to stay awake but just barely. I kept waiting for McCain to begin pounding Obama. He came close, shadow boxed a little, sparred a little more, landed a few light punches but failed to connect with a knock out. Neither did Obama. The concensus is McCain may have won on points but a draw goes to Obama.

The questions didnt lend themselves for McCain to go on much offense. Brokow left out Abortion, Immigration, Second Amendment Rights, Judicial Appointments etc. I listened to Bill Bennett's show this morning and was surprised to hear how many listeners thought McCain actually did fine!. These were not hard nosed partisans but average working folk. Sometimes we who are addicted to this political stuff have to listen to what is actually on the minds of average voters.

Last night was supposed to be when the gloves came off. As far as I am concerned they didn't, BUT. I am not disheartned. Despite the polls, which may actually be narrowing, I think we could be in a situation like the Democratic primaries which showed Obama with large leads only to see them evaporate on primary night. Anyone remember New Hampshire for instance? Obama had many chances to close the primary deal with voters but in the end it was the Super Delagates that put him over the top. With the worse economic crisis since the Depression, and a war people are tiring of, Obama should have at least a 15 point lead. Maybe he will in the end, but I do not see it. He cannot seem to close the deal again.

I may be totally wrong, and if I am I will not be shocked, but I still see McCain wining this by a hair.
There is still one month remaining in this campaign. Two weeks ago McCain led in almost all the tracking Polls. Two weeks made a huge difference and we still have four weeks to go.

McCain -Palin need to keep the pressure up on Ayres, Wright, Rezko, ACORN, Fannie and Freddie - What happened and why and who is responsible. They also need to remind voters we are still in a Global War on Islamic Terrorism. As the economic clouds grow darker I believe in the end Americans will want someone they can trust. That someone is John McCain

STOCKS PLUNGE 500 POINTS ON HEELS OF BAILOUT PLAN

Well, results of the $700 billion bail out deal are pouring in and it ain't pretty. World wide markets down today from 4 to over 6 percent. The Dow at lest look was down around 500 points. Banks this weekend in Europe are on the brink and there is talk of a European version of the bailout. Now I know this was not a cure-all and implementing this "rescue" will take time. All the more reason as John McCain prepares for the second Presidential debate and begins to take off the gloves as he promised, he must also give positive reasonns why he and Sarah Palin would be better for the economy.

Just as it is not good to change horses in the middle of a war, McCain MUST show A) how HIS economic policies will  deffer from George Bush's and B) How Barack Obama's policies will further decimate the economy.

This needs to be the center pioece of his presentation Tuesday. McCain has campaigned on cutting spending and cutting taxes. Obama has called for tax increases and additional spending of over $850 billion!. McCain needs to do the math on Obama's programs and show how under current conditions he will not be able to deliver on what he promises.

McCain must also show how his proposals will help the economy and increase jobs thus increasing revenue. He must remind Americans HE was right on Fannie and Freddie and called for action years before this mess festered. It is about judgement. As with the War on terror and the Iraq war, McCain gets it and Obama does not. McCain was right on the mortgage crisis, Obama was wrong. He should also call for the repeal of the Community Redevelopment Act that started this mess in the first place. The goal was noble, the methods disastrous.

It is a good idea for McCain to take off the gloves re Obama's associations and character, IF he ties them into Obama's judgement on Tax and spend and ACORN and this whole credit mess. Dealings with the ilk of Rezko show a shody disregard for above board finances.

The format of The second debate is Town Hall style and should allow McCain to connect direct to the American people on these issues. If he does this, along with Palin's performance last week, could just turn this campaign around.

SARAH PALIN ONCE AGAIN SAVES THE DAY

Sarah Palin once again ignited the fuse of the faltering McCain Campaign. She had a couple of not so memorable interviews, and with the bottom falling out of the economy John McGain needed a real Hail Mary.

What he got was a terrific performance by his VP choice that, like her electrifying acceptance speech, recharged this saging campaign. Last night was a must. The weight of the rest of this campaign rested on her shoulders and she carried it well.

Give Joe Biden credit, he had a good debate also, but as in the Presidential debate where McCain on on points for detail, The general take was Obama won because McCain could not crush him and on personality. Sarah Palin won this debate because she was good on the issues, She went toe to toe with Biden and did not get run over. She presented her points forcefully yet in ways that connected with the public. She exceeded all expectations, even those of her supporters.

I believe what Palin has done is grab back some of the momentum she and McCain had before the financial crisis. One complaint I do have about last night is she did not take the Democrat Congress to task for failing to heed McCain's and Bush's warnings three years ago about the potential for this disaster to happen. McCain MUST start hamering this  in the debate on Tuesday.

Sarah Palin has set the table for McCain. It is up to him in the next debate to take the gloves off and answer point by point the untruths of the Obama campaign and how Obama's economic policies will further ruin the economy. Maybe McCain has heard us, this morning he was asked when the gloves would come off re the credit crisis and he replied,"How about Tuesday!" I sure hope so but how about starting today?

Sarah Palin's performance was just the right medicine at the right time that the campaign needed and we all needed. I for one feel recharged and optimistic again. If she has also recharged John McCain then we still have a good shot at wining this.

LETS NOT FORGET: DRILL HERE DRILL NOW!

We have a Presidential election going on, and the greatest financial crisis in generations. A lot on everyone's table. As one crisis or issue pops up others recede from our sight. We must not forget August 1st when Nancy, Stretch Pelosi, turned off the lights in Congress and went off on her 5 week so called book tour. Seems like an eternity ago but it was just two months ago.

We must not forget the anger we all felt at Congres not passing an of shore oil bill to get us on the road to true independence from foreign oil. We wrote, bloged, called our Congressman. Bush and McCain had come out to support drilling. Even Obama, after calling on Americans to check our tires, finally sort of came out in support of something about off shore drilling. Oil prices dropped a little and the clamor stopped. It is hard to keep up a high level of excitement over an issue, but this time we cannot let things go back to normal as has been done for over 30 years. We cannot allow the Democrats to put into legislation on offshore drilling the seeds of its failure. We can not allow them to claim they want drilling but make it imposible to do so.

The banking/credit crisis shows how fragile and interrelated our econony really is. All the more reason we must use our own resources. $700 billion a year goes for foreign oil. Hmmm, where have we heard that number before?

Americans are capable of handling more than one crisis at a time. Drill here, Drill NOW, PAY Less!!!
